The Cave Patrol aka Patrol of the Depths

The Cave Patrol or Patrol of the Depths is a private organization founded by geologists Terry Bronx and Sandy Crown.  It is comprised of five members: Brox, Crown, Professor Jean Monnier, Native American Seminole Poldus (a vulcanologist) and African American Tobie Drugg (a paleontologist).  It has fought the underground empires of the Mods and their inhuman allies, the Gheos, who plotted to invade the surface world, and assisted Zembla and the Strangers in various missions.
